2016 CEO Strategic Planning Meeting

The purpose of the CEO Strategic Planning Meeting is to review and discuss EFC’s 2016 initiatives and its accomplishments; identify EFC’s 2017 priorities, and review and update the 2016–2018 strategic plan. The meeting will continue to build on EFC’s goal to provide EFC members with greater transparency as well as improved member communication and member input for the future of the association. Your participation, knowledge, and input are imperative to the success of EFC going forward.

Please join us for the EFC CEO Strategic Planning Meeting scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 17 – 18, 2016 at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club located at 851 Gulf Shore Boulevard North, Naples, Florida.  The purpose of this meeting will be to review and discuss EFC’s 2016 initiatives and its accomplishments; identify EFC’s 2017 priorities; and review and update the 2016–2018 strategic plan. The meeting will continue to build on EFC’s goal to provide EFC members with greater transparency as well as improved member communication and member input for the future of the association. Your participation, knowledge, and input are imperative to the success of EFC going forward. The meeting will begin on Thursday morning with the open session of the Board Meeting and as soon as Board business has concluded, the CEO Strategic Planning Meeting will begin.

 

Hotel Reservations

EFC has reserved a block of hotel rooms for meeting attendees at the low rate of $219.00 per night plus tax (10%-subject to change). Hotel reservations may be made online only if you are booking within the block dates of November 15 – 18, 2016 – please use this link (Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club).  If you require additional dates, then you must make your reservation by contacting the hotel directly at 1-800-237-7600 and reference "Education Finance Council" or "2016 EFC CEO Strategic Planning Meeting” to take advantage of the reduced room rate.  The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club will provide additional room nights at the EFC group rate up to two (2) day prior and/or three (3) days after the block dates, subject to room and group rate availability at the time of the reservation.  

All guest rooms are non-smoking.  Additional person fee is $15.00.  This fee is per night for the third and fourth person, with a maximum of four people per suite.  Check in time is after 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 12:00 p.m.  A first night room deposit must be made with a valid credit card to confirm (credit cards with an expiration date prior to your arrival date are not valid).  For any reservations that “no show”, this deposit will be forfeited.  Room deposits will be considered non-refundable if canceled within three (3) days of the group’s arrival date.  

Reserve your hotel room early as the special room rate will expire on October 19, 2016 or sooner should the room block sell out.  Should the guest room block fill prior to the cut-off-date, or after the October 19, 2016 cut-off date, any additional room requests will be based on space- and rate-available basis.  Therefore, please make your hotel reservations as early as possible and only book the number of rooms you need – this is a small room block. 

 

CEO Strategic Planning Meeting Registration

In an effort to keep the group size to a minimum to best facilitate conversation and confidentiality, each organization is limited to two (2) attendees.  The registration fee is $780.00 per person; however there is no guest fee.  A guest is defined as a spouse/significant other/child – it does not cover any employee of your organization, business associate or consultant.   


Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to barbarar@efc.org.  Full refunds will be provided for cancellation requests made on or before October 19, 2016.  Requests made after October 19, 2016 and before November 10, 2016 will receive a 50 percent refund; any requests made after November 10, 2016 are not eligible for a refund even if the registrant does NOT attend the conference.  There is no cancellation fee.
