EFC Member Conference Fees

Registration received on or before August 6, 2019 — $980.00

Registration received after August 6, 2019 — $1,180.00

Non-Member Conference Fees

Registration received on or before August 6, 2019 — $1,320.00

Registration received after August 6, 2019 — $1,520.00

Checks should be made payable to Education Finance Council and mailed to: Education Finance Council, Attention: Gail daMota, 440 First Street NW, Suite 560, Washington, DC 20001. (Please Note: Your organization’s EFC membership dues for 2019 must be current to receive the member rate.)

Cancellation, Refund & Complain Policy: All registration cancellations requests must be made in writing (e-mail is acceptable) to Gail daMota at Full refunds will be provided for cancellation requests made on or before August 6, 2019. Requests made after August 6, 2019 but before September 3, 2019 will receive a 50 percent refund, and requests made after September 3, 2019 are not eligible for a refund even if the registrant does NOT attend the conference. There is no cancellation fee. Hotel Reservations

Hotel room reservations must be made directly with the Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill by utilizing this link, Education Finance Council Meeting, or by calling the hotel central reservations at 
1-800-321-3010.  Please inform the reservation clerk that you are attending the Education Finance Council Mid-Year Membership Meeting to ensure the special room rate of $249.00 per night, plus applicable tax (14.5%). In-room internet and access to fitness center is complimentary.

You must make your reservation on or before August 6, 2019 to receive the special room rate. Once EFC’s room block is full, or after August 6, 2019, reservations will be accepted on a space- and rate-available basis.  Please only reserve the number of rooms that you will be using, as cancelling rooms on or after the cut-off date prevents other members from receiving the EFC special rate and may lead to penalties for EFC. EFC’s room block dates are September 10 through September 13, 2019, however, the EFC group rate will apply September 7 through and including September 16, 2019 with rooms outside the room block subject to availability.

Hotel room reservations may be canceled up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. If complete cancellation of an individual reservation takes place within 72 hours of the scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one (1) night’s room revenue will be charge with the exception of a personal or medical emergency where verification can be provided. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m. The Hotel shall arrange to check baggage on a complimentary basis for guests arriving before check-in for whom rooms are not available, and for guests attending functions on their day of departure.
