2020 Education Finance Conference

The EFC Education Finance Conference (EFC2) offers insight from industry experts and will provide up-to-date information on key issues and new developments impacting the student loan and postsecondary education industry.

EFC2 offers two tracks of sessions, including some of the traditional topics, such as financing and student loan servicing, college success and student success initiatives, pathways connecting education to employment, and statutory, regulatory, and legislative developments.

EFC2 is strategically located in Washington, DC and attracts key members of Congress, Administration officials, postsecondary education groups, and other industry stakeholders.

Hotel room reservations must be made directly with the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill by utilizing this link, Education Finance Council Meeting, or by calling the hotel central reservations at 1-202-737-1234. Please inform the reservation clerk that you are attending the Education Finance Council Education Finance Conference to ensure the special room rate of $279.00 per night, plus applicable tax (14.95%) – in-room internet is complimentary, and hotel or resort fees are waived.

You must make your reservation on or before August 18, 2020 to receive the special room rate. Once EFC’s room block is full, or after August 18, 2020, reservations will be accepted on a space- and rate-available basis. Please only reserve the number of rooms that you will be using – cancelling rooms on or after the cut-off date prevents other members from receiving the EFC special rate and may lead to penalties for EFC. EFC’s room block dates are September 15 through September 18, 2020; however, the EFC group rate will apply September 12 through and including September 21, 2020 with rooms outside the room block subject to availability.

Hotel room reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours prior to arrival without penalty. If complete cancellation of an individual reservation takes place within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one (1) night’s room revenue will be charge with the exception of a personal or medical emergency where verification can be provided. Check-in time is 12:00 p.m. Check-out time is 3:00 p.m. The Hotel shall arrange to check baggage on a complimentary basis for guests arriving before check-in for whom rooms are not available, and for guests attending functions on their day of departure.
