The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) — funded by the Alaska Student Loan Corporation (ASLC) — promotes access to and success in education and career training beyond high school.

Arkansas

The Arkansas Student Loan Authority (ASLA) is a state entity created to provide access to and information about educational funding for all Arkansas students who wish to attend institutions of higher education.

Connecticut

The Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (CHESLA) is a quasi-public state authority created to help students and their families finance the cost of higher education.

Connecticut Student Loan Foundation (CSLF) is a Connecticut State chartered not-for-profit corporation providing appropriate services incident to the administration of programs which are established to improve educational opportunities.

Georgia

Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) is Georgia’s state agency responsible for state- and lottery-funded scholarships, grants, service cancelable loan programs, and providing free financial aid consultation. GSFC’s mission is to ensure Georgians have an opportunity to access education beyond high school.

Indiana

For over 40 years, the goal of INvestEd has been to provide students with solutions to put higher education within reach. INvestEd believes strong choices before college are the best way to limit excessive student loan debt after college.

Iowa

ISL Education Lending is a nonprofit organization with a purpose to help students and families obtain the resources necessary to succeed in postsecondary education, from private student loans, offered under the name ISL Education Lending, and scholarships to free planning tools and resources provided by Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation.

Kentucky

The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) is a public corporation and governmental agency and instrumentality of the Commonwealth established in 1966 to improve students’ access to higher education. To that end, KHEAA administers several financial aid programs and disseminates information about higher education opportunities.

Louisiana

The Louisiana Education Loan Authority (Lela) is a division of the Louisiana Public Facilities Authority (LPFA), a nonprofit public trust established to bring financing assistance and advantages to the people of Louisiana. As part of a nonprofit public trust, Lela’s mission is to make higher education more accessible and affordable for the people of Louisiana.

Massachusetts

The Massachusetts state legislature created MEFA in 1982 at the request of colleges and universities across the Commonwealth. MEFA helps students and families access and afford higher education and reach financial goals through education programs, tax-advantaged savings plans, low-cost loans, and expert guidance.

Minnesota

The Minnesota Office of Higher Education is a cabinet-level state agency providing students with financial aid programs and information to help them gain access to postsecondary education. The agency also serves as the state’s clearinghouse for data, research and analysis on postsecondary enrollment, financial aid, finance and trends.

ECMC works to lower student loan default rates; sponsor college access and success initiatives, and financial literacy programs; and provide resources to support student loan borrowers to successfully repay their loans.

Granite Edvance has long been a resource in the state, offering free career and higher-education counseling and resources as well as funding support, including through loans, grants and scholarships. It also offers funding options to students and borrowers outside New Hampshire, through its EdvestinU private student loan and refinance options.

CFNC is a free and comprehensive service that helps students, along with their families, plan, apply, and pay for college.

Bank of North Dakota is an agile partner that creates financial solutions for current and emerging economic needs. Bank of North Dakota’s mission is to deliver quality, sound financial services that promote agriculture, commerce, and industry in North Dakota.

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) was created by the Pennsylvania General Assembly in 1963 to provide affordable access to higher education for PA students and families.
