EFC Nonprofit & State-Based Members
EFC’s Voting Members form the governing structure of EFC and drive the agenda of the association. EFC Voting Membership is comprised solely of nonprofit entities including public/state agencies.
The Helping Families Plan and Pay for College: 2023 Education Finance Council National Impact Report provides an overview of the many programs and services offered by EFC’s nonprofit and state-based membership, focusing more detail in the areas of: College Savings and Scholarships, College Outreach and Success, Financial Literacy Education and Training, State-based and Nonprofit Education Loan Program; Education-to-Employment Pathways, and Support for Borrowers in Repayment. EFC member programs may serve a specific state while others are available nationwide.
